Born in Cabaret St. Marc, Haiti and based in Brooklyn, New York, Pierre earned a diploma in plastic art from L'Ecole Nationale des Arts in Port-au-Prince. Pierre has participated in solo and group exhibitions throughout the U.S. in Boston, Miami, Chicago and internationally in Mexico, France and Haiti. He has participated in group exhibitions, including L'Ecole Nationale des Art, Tele-Nationale and Musee College Saint Pierre. His first solo exhibition appeared at the Centre d'Art in Haiti. He has exhibited in the U.S. at the Creative Photographic Arts Center, Bates College, Maine; Polvo Arts Studio, Chicago; and the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists, Boston.

Pierre has also developed public art projects for the city of Port-au-Prince, Hands on Miami, and Identidades, Mexico. From multi-layered abstract painting and installation art to large scale murals, Pierre's work is centered on contemporary art practices among the Caribbean Diaspora and larger spheres.
